Muurrbay Partnerships

Muurrbay has links with many organisations and community groups, and has formed significant partnerships to work together for Language learning and teaching programs:

  • Muurrbay has formed a partnership with Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation by developing a Memorandum of Understanding to work together towards revitalising the Gumbaynggirr language in all areas of life. This is particularly relevant to their Gumbaynggirr Giingana Freedom School the first Aboriginal language bilingual school in NSW.
  • We auspice the publishing of language resources with the Ngabu Bingayi Dhanggati Language Group
  • Gathang Garuwaga in Karuah is a project supporting the use of Gathang in families.
  • Gathangga Dhanbanda Language network workshops
