On Friday May 9th, Muurrbay held an open day for our new Southern Office in Raymond Terrace. To celebrate the opening, we hosted a Graduation for our Gathang Certificate III, run in 2024.
Last year we had our largest cohort through the Gathang Certificate III, with 32 student graduating from the course. A huge congratulations to all our students, and thank you for all your hard work!
Muurrbay would also like to thank the teachers of this course, Julie Long and Sharon Edgar-Jones.
The open day was a fantastic opportunity to open our doors to the community, with everyone in attendance able to look at the resources and spaces we now have in the southern region of Muurrbay’s languages.
