Despite being one of the wettest days in months, the Muurrbay Open Day on 16 March, to celebrate the completion of our renovations and repairs funded by a Heritage Near Me strategic grant from the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage was well attended and a great success. Everyone enjoyed the mini-language classes run by several of out Certificate III graduates, singing along with Guganbuwala and the sausage sizzle expertly-manned by staff from the National Parks and Wildlife Service. We also launched our New Roof appeal on the day and soon had some donations rolling in.
We are currently having problems uploading photos onto this site but if you go to Muurrbay Nambucca on Facebook you can see some fantastic photos, taken by Chris Hewgill, of the day https://www.facebook.com/muurrbay.nambuccaheads
